FAQ - We have tried to answer questions that really do get
asked! If you have a question that isn't listed below, please contact us! Q. Do I need to bring a partner? A. No. You can come on your own (many people do), with a
friend or as a group Q. What should I wear? A. Whatever you like! Well, within reason! Think casual
Saturday night out and you'll probably be in the right ball park Q. What shoes should I wear? A. May sound obvious, but they need to fit well and be
comfortable. They need a smooth sole to allow easier spinning. Things to
avoid: Welly boots, Flop-Flops, high grip soles...! Q. I've seen some people wearing really nice dance shoes -
where can I get some? A. Watch this space! Plans are in place to introduce a
supplier of quality dance shoes at Le Jive venues Q. What music would I be dancing to? A. You name it - anything with a defined and regular beat.
Most musical tastes are catered for with Pop/Chart, Rock, Rock & Roll,
Latin/Tango, Funk, Blues, Swing and more Q. How can I remember moves?! A. Now that's a hard one! Repetition - practice, practice and
practice. Get in the habit of asking someone to dance as soon as the lesson
has finished, ask them if they mind going over the moves just taught. You are
extremely unlikely for anyone to ever so no! |
